BOARD of EDUCATION MEMBER
for 3 YEAR TERM
The Fairfield Township Board of Education is seeking an individual who is interested in filling a vacancy on the Board of Education. As per NJSA 18:12-1 and NJSA 18:112-2, a member of the Board of Education must be of legal voting age, registered to vote in the district, not disqualified as a voter pursuant to R.S.19:4-1, a citizen and resident of the school district for at least one year immediately preceding his or her appointment or election, and must be able to read and write. He or she shall not be interested directly or indirectly in any contract with or have any claim against the Board.
